Download Ventoy 1.0.46 - Multiboot Bootable USB

Ventoy is another neat Bootable USB Creation Tool that can be used to boot and run multiple ISO files from USB. Its functionality is simple. Just Format your thumb drive using the tool, then drag and drop your chosen ISO files onto your flash drive. The ISO files are directly copied over and added to the boot menu. This should result in a ready to boot USB device. Ventoy is an Open Source tool, so everyone is welcome to dig in to see how it works. It supports legacy BIOS and UEFI boot options, and also works with UEFI Secure Boot. It is important to note that your flash drive can still be used for regular storage as well.

How it works: This Multiboot USB Tool works by creating a hidden bootable partition which houses the boot menu and boot loader. While another exFAT partition is created and used for storing the ISO files. This method allows for the storage of file sizes larger than 4GB.

Features:
  • 100% open source
  • Very simple to use
  • Fast (limited only by the speed of copying iso file)
  • Can be installed in USB/Local Disk/SSD/NVMe/SD Card
  • Directly boot from ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files, no extraction needed
  • No need to be continuous in disk for ISO/WIM/IMG/VHD(x)/EFI files
  • Both MBR and GPT partition style are supported
  • x86 Legacy BIOS, IA32 UEFI, x86_64 UEFI, ARM64 UEFI, MIPS64EL UEFI supported
  • IA32/x86_64 UEFI Secure Boot supported

  • RHEL7/8/CentOS7/8/SUSE/Ubuntu Server ... auto installation supported
  • FAT32/exFAT/NTFS/UDF/XFS/Ext2(3)(4) supported for main partition
  • ISO files larger than 4GB supported
  • Native boot menu style for Legacy & UEFI
  • Most type of OS supported, 700+ iso files tested
  • Linux vDisk(vhd/vdi/raw...) boot solution
  • Not only boot but also complete installation process
  • Menu dynamically switchable between ListView and TreeView mode
  • "Ventoy Compatible" concept
  • Plugin Framework
  • Injection files to runtime enviroment
  • Boot configuration file dynamically replacement
  • Highly customizable theme and menu style
  • USB drive write-protected support
  • USB normal use unaffected

Download Universal USB Installer 2.0.0

Universal USB Installer aka UUI is a Live Linux Bootable USB Creator. It allows users to make a USB Boot from a Linux distribution, Windows Installer, Windows To Go, Antivirus Scanner, Disk Cloning Software or any other System Tool that can be put on a flash drive. The software is easy to use; Simply choose your distribution from the list, browse to the ISO file, select your target flash drive, and then click Create. Once finished, you should have a ready to run Bootable Flash Drive containing the operating system or tool you selected.

It is important to note that the Universal USB Installer allows you to continue using your flash drive for traditional storage purposes. This is unlike some tools that use DD (Copy and Convert) to directly Burn ISO to USB. Those types of tools overwrite the file system, making the device appear as a CD/DVD which is further limited to the size of the ISO file. Another key feature of UUI includes Persistence storage, where available. This Persistent feature allows you to save some changes and then restore them on subsequent boots. Ubuntu based Casper Persistence works with FAT32 or NTFS formatted drives. A larger than 4GB casper-rw or persistent option is also possible when the USB drive is formatted with an NTFS filesystem.

NOTE: If you are wanting to add multiple Live Linux Distributions, System Diagnostic Tools, Antivirus Utilities, and Windows Installers, you should use the YUMI Multiboot USB Software, instead. It can help you Boot Multiple ISO files from one flash drive.

Download YUMI 2.0.8 - Multiboot USB Creator

YUMI (Your Universal Multiboot Installer) is a USB Boot tool that can be used to make a Multisystem Bootable USB drive. Quickly create a Multiboot USB Flash Drive containing multiple ISO files. Use it to boot your favorite Live Linux Operating Systems, Linux and Windows Installers, antivirus utilities, disc cloning, backup, penetration testing, diagnostic tools, and much more. This tool makes it easy for anyone to create their own customized multi purpose Bootable USB.

YUMI is the recommended successor to our Universal USB Installer and older MultiBoot ISOs tools. Which were amongst the first tools made for the purpose of creating a USB bootable flash drive. Files are generally stored within the Multiboot folder, making for a nicely organized Portable Multiboot USB Drive that can still be used for traditional storage purposes.

Though YUMI was originally intended to be used to store and run various “LIVE Linux” Operating Systems and tools from USB, using it to install Linux from a Flash Drive to a Hard Drive should work with most distributions. If you find a distribution where the installer does not work, please let me know.
YUMI Multiboot Bootable USB Flash Drive Creation

This tool works much like Universal USB Installer, except it can be used to run more than one distribution from your Thumb Drive. Distributions can also be uninstalled using the same tool!

A YUMI exFAT variant is still in the works. In the interim, Legacy or UEFI variants are recommended. Here are the key differences:
  • Legacy supports either NTFS or Fat32 format. BIOS boot only.
  • UEFI supports Fat32 only. UEFI and BIOS booting (Distro dependent).

Download Rufus 3.14

Rufus is a utility that helps format and create bootable USB flash drives, such as USB keys/pendrives, memory sticks, etc.

It can be especially useful for cases where:
  • you need to create USB installation media from bootable ISOs (Windows, Linux, UEFI, etc.)
  • you need to work on a system that doesn't have an OS installed
  • you need to flash a BIOS or other firmware from DOS
  • you want to run a low-level utility
Rufus is fast. For instance it's about twice as fast as UNetbootin, Universal USB Installer or Windows 7 USB download tool, on the creation of a Windows 7 USB installation drive from an ISO. It is also marginally faster on the creation of Linux bootable USB from ISOs. A non exhaustive list of Rufus supported ISOs is also provided at the bottom of this page.

Download FlashBoot 3.3i - Create bootable USB disk

FlashBoot is a tool to convert Windows XP/Vista/7/8.x/10 installation CD/DVD to bootable USB disk, useful for Windows installation on netbooks and other devices without CD/DVD drive. FlashBoot supports USB flash thumbdrives and USB hard disks...

Also, using FlashBoot you can create blank bootable USB flash with minimal set of system files and then manually tune it for your needs, or convert a full-featured bootable CD-ROM or floppy disk to bootable USB Flash keeping all functionality. Different operating systems are supported: Windows 7/Vista, Windows XP, SysLinux-based disks, GRUB4DOS disks, Linux kernel etc.

Usually Windows is installed from DVD disc, but these days it's much more convenient to install operating system from USB thumbdrive. A lot of modern hardware does not even have a builtin DVD reader/recorder. With FlashBoot, you can install Windows from USB, and so avoid using external USB DVD reader/recorder for Windows installation.
  • Prepare USB thumbdrive for installation of Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1 or Windows Vista to internal HDD/SSD
  • Install full-featured Windows 10 or Windows 8/8.1 to USB thumbdrive, which will boot independently from main OS on HDD/SSD
  • Save USB thumbdrive to image file
  • Restore USB thumbdrive from image file
  • Copy USB thumbdrive to another USB thumbdrive, retaining bootability
  • Install DOS to USB thumbdrive
  • Install UEFI shell to USB thumbdrive
  • Quickly format USB thumbdrive
  • Wipe USB thumbdrive (securely erase all data)

Download FlashBoot 3.2s

FlashBoot enables you to install an instance of the Windows OS onto a USB storage device, empowering you to boot any PC from that device. With FlashBoot, you'll be able to walk about with a fully-functional installation of Windows 10 or 8.1 in your pocket, ready to go under any circumstance. Need your favorite app, document, game, or browser when you're sitting in front of a strange computer? Just break out your USB device prepared with FlashBoot!

FlashBoot Free can install fresh copy of Windows to USB thumbdrive, and FlashBoot Pro can create bootable clone of your existing Windows installation (including apps, settings, documents, games, browsers etc).

Also FlashBoot Pro can create installable clone of Windows 7, Windows 8.x or Windows 10 which can be used to instantly copy all your apps, settings, documents, games and browsers from old computer to a new computer (even with dissimilar hardware), move operating system from HDD to SSD, move OS from/to RAID array, copy OS between virtual machine and real hardware, or switch Windows boot method between UEFI and non-UEFI. This feature can be used to gain unpartitioned disk space for dual-boot configurations by reinstalling your OEM copy of Windows in-place. Additionally, this self-extracting backup of Windows will be of good use in the case of next ransomware virus attack, failed Windows update, or accidently deleted file.

Using FlashBoot, you can install Windows 7 to new laptop or new PC with no problems. (Due to lack of builting USB 3.0 support, installation of plain Windows 7 to new computer fails right on the first screen: mouse, keyboard and boot device are inaccessible to plain Windows 7.) FlashBoot can prepare Windows setup on USB thumbdrive with slipstreamed drivers, so you can quickly and easily install Windows 7 to any new computer, even Kaby Lake and Ryzen platforms. Besides of builtin USB 3.0, NVMe and RAID drivers, FlashBoot can also slipstream user-supplied drivers.

And finally, FlashBoot facilitates installation of older operating systems, such as Windows XP, from USB thumdrive, and running minified version of it (known as BartPE) from USB thumbdrive. You can even use FlashBoot to build self-extracting standalone EXE files that contain exactly what you want, for rapid deployment whenever you need it. If capacity of USB thumdrive was reduced by other tools, then FlashBoot will automatically recover it to full capacity.

Features available only in FlashBoot Pro ($ 29.95)
  • Create bootable clone of Windows 10 or Windows 8.1 on USB thumbdrive, which will boot independently from main OS on HDD/SSD
  • Create installable clone of Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10 with optional driver integration (USB 3.0, NVMe, AHCI/RAID or user-supplied drivers)

Download VirtualBox 6.0.8

VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software.

Some of the features of VirtualBox are:
  • Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox.
  • Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.

Download YUMI 2.0.5.4

YUMI (Your Universal Multiboot Integrator), is the successor to our MultibootISOs. It can be used to create a Multiboot USB Flash Drive containing multiple operating systems, antivirus utilities, disc cloning, diagnostic tools, and more. Contrary to MultiBootISOs which used grub to boot ISO files directly from USB, YUMI uses syslinux to boot extracted distributions stored on the USB device, and reverts to using grub to Boot Multiple ISO files from USB, if necessary.

Aside from a few distributions, all files are stored within the Multiboot or yumi folder (depending on version), making for a nicely organized Multiboot USB Drive that can still be used for other storage purposes.

Changes in YUMI 2.0.5.4 – 03/07/2018 :
• Added initial support for KaOS, VyOS, Bluestar Linux, Raspberry Pi Desktop, and XenialPup. • Medicat now extracts to the root folder until I find a fix for lost paths.

Changes in UEFI YUMI  (Beta) 0.0.0.6 – 10/12/2017 :
• Update to support AEOMI Backupper.
• Fix broken Tails.
