One of the advantages of this e-mail client software is that even when you are offline, you can still read the e-mail that has been entered. Zimbra can also access the kelender from social networks like Facebook, Digg, Tweets and many more. If you have a lot of email accounts, Zimbra can accommodate all of that. You can also read all the contacts you have in the email account that you added to Zimbra. If you get an e-mail in the form of a document, you can edit it directly. The disadvantage of Zimbra Desktop is that it is a little difficult to use for a beginner, plus the display of Gmail is not good.
During the installation process, you are required to specify the provider (Zimbra, Yahoo!, Gmail, MobileMe, AOL, POP or IMAP service), give details about your account (email address, password, and other account settings), and insert additional email accounts.
You can also make the program check for messages at a specified time, and synchronize all calendars, contacts and groups.
